Lucy Philip is an avocado grower from the Childers region, where she and her husband Kevin own and operate Brooklet Farms. Lucy grew up in cattle production, while Kevin is a third-generation horticultural farmer with strong ties to the region. Together, they grow Sheppard and Hass avocados and have also produced a range of crops including tomatoes, sugarcane, Indian sandalwood in the Northern Territory, and hydroponic berries in Stanthorpe, Queensland.

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Certificate in Commerce, and has completed the AICD Company Directors Course. She is also on the board of Avocados Australia Limited and Chair of its Remuneration Committee, representing growers nationally. Lucy also serves on the Hort Innovation Marketing SIAP for avocados.
