Alex joins the BFVG team as the Pick of the Crop Bundaberg Coordinator.  She brings with her 20 years of experience as a teacher, working in the early years and primary education.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and started her teaching life in Mundubbera, back in 2002.  Since then, Alex has lived in many farming communities across Australia, including Batlow, Yarra Valley, Stanthorpe, Hillston and Wallaville.

As a teacher, Alex is passionate about supporting and educating children in their lifelong learning journey.  With this program, Alex works alongside Health and Wellbeing (HWQLD) to support and assist schools in creating opportunities at a school level for children to explore, grow, taste, and learn about fruit and vegetables and healthy eating.
